Unusual Wi-Fi stone in the forest

In a small clearing in the forests of Springorthof, there is a very unusual sculpture, which at first glance resembles an unremarkable boulder. There are no signs or plaques on it nearby. The only thing that attracts attention is that one end of the stone is covered with black soot.

Someone tried to set it on fire, but why?

The 1.5 ton boulder is a real rock that has been slightly tweaked to hide the inside of a Wi-Fi router powered by a thermoelectric generator. This generator converts heat directly into electricity. All you need to do is build a fire near the boulder to power the router. Once the router is powered up, visitors can connect to the internet and download a collection of survival guides, ranging from useless to pretty bizarre.
