Who would have thought that the recent birth of Irish Volkodawa, held in one of the veterinary centers of the Republic of South Africa, will go down in history. Two of the seven puppies born attracted the attention of veterinarians in that they were surprisingly similar to each other. Moreover, they were connected by one pocent.
The genetic analysis of the two puppies confirmed the guesses of the doctors - there were two identical twins in front of them. Although none of those present doctors did not meet this in his veterinary practice (the most experienced doctor had experience of 26 years old), identical twins, no doubt, were born in dogs and in the past. That's just no such case was officially documented and confirmed.
Now puppies, who were called Kullen and Romulus, are the first officially recognized twin puppies in history.
