Octavio Ocampo is a Mexican surrealist painter who paints illusion paintings. He was born in 1943 in Mesquica, Celaya. After graduating from the Academy of Arts in Mexico City, he began to exhibit his work, the first exhibition was in 1976.
His main style is metamormic. He uses a special technique of overlaying and joining parts. You can peer into his paintings for a long time and constantly find something new, unnoticed and hidden.
Octavio's paintings are in museums and collections. From time to time he painted pictures to order. He also collaborates with many celebrities, for example, he made the cover for one of Cher's albums.
